Data Sources and Limitations
Forever data is a community transcription of demo footage. It may change before release. This planner uses a 51-point budget and five points per tier based on Classic rules; Forever’s allocation rules have not been verified in the client.
What’s in this snapshot?
Classic Era: 49 Mage talents from build 1.15.9.69722. Forever: 53 transcribed talents, plus Improved Fireball’s name, position and rank limit reported by two community calculators. Its effect remains unconfirmed here.
Why are some rank effects unavailable?
Demo tooltips often show just one rank. We preserve the recorded rank and withhold extrapolated values. A transcription is not an independent in-game verification.
What counts as a change?
Talents are matched by ID within these snapshots. Badges flag position, rank limit, prerequisites and wording at shared recorded ranks. Wording changes do not necessarily mean a balance change. “Classic only” can include renamed or replaced talents; it does not prove removal from the game.
